About Hanna Vann
Founder of The Sacred Lotus Studio

​I am an artist, healer, and mother dedicated to uplifting and empowering others.

​

I completed two Bachelor's degree in 2013 from the College of Charleston, one in biology and the other in religious studies. I also have a certificate in clinical massage therapy that I received in 2017 and I just completed my Master's degree in psychology in December of 2022. 

 

I have always been interested in the link between science and the divine. Starting out my career as a massage therapist, I intimately know the stress we put on our bodies daily. Along with the physical toll is the emotional stress and wounds that we carry in both our physical and energetic bodies. My goal is to provide the services, outlets, and products that aid in both the physical and energetic healing of our beautiful bodies and souls.

 Five years ago I discovered junk journals, which combined my lifelong love of writing and journaling with making and mixed media art. Since then, I have deep dived into all areas of bookmaking and mixed media art. Each new art form and medium unlocks more healing for me and gives me more of an outlet to express myself.

I now have a art studio located inside the Public Works Art Center in Downtown Summerville, SC where I have my art for sale.
