During a massage, you can expect to lie down on a comfortable massage table while a professional licensed massage therapist uses various massage techniques to manipulate your muscles and soft tissues to help you relax and relieve tension. You will be asked to undress to your comfort level and will be draped with sheets for privacy. It's common to feel relaxed and refreshed after a massage.
Swedish Massage: a gentle massage that uses long strokes, kneading, and circular movements to help you relax and reduce muscle tension.
Deep Tissue Massage: uses slow, deep pressure to release chronic muscle tension and alleviate pain.
Prenatal Massage: accommodates the changes in the mother's body and provide relief from common issues such as back pain, swollen feet, muscle tension, and overall stress. Employs gentle and soothing strokes, along with positioning the woman comfortably on her side, to ensure her safety and comfort throughout the session. It is important for pregnant women to consult with their healthcare provider and seek the services of a trained prenatal massage therapist to ensure a safe and beneficial experience.
Neuromuscular Massage: focuses on addressing specific areas of pain or tension in the body caused by muscular imbalances, trigger points, or nerve entrapments. It is a specialized form of bodywork that combines elements of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and stretching techniques to target the neuromuscular system, which includes the muscles, nerves, and connective tissues.
